The Weeknd stars in gruesome film featuring five new songs

The Weeknd has released a short film featuring previews of songs from his latest album Starboy - out on Friday.
The short 12-minute film - called Mania - features five collaborations between the singer and other artists, and lots of blood.
All I Know featuring Future plays at the beginning of the video.
That is followed by Sidewalks, featuring Kendrick Lamar - as the singer drives to a club where Lana Del Rey's collaboration Party Monster is heard playing.
For the film's final credit scene, The Weeknd performs Daft Punk's I Feel It Coming, next to model Anais Mali.
The short movie was directed by Grant Singer, responsible for all previous Weeknd music videos including Starboy and Can't Feel My Face.
The Canadian artist's eagerly-anticipated Starboy album is due to drop this Friday, and he has already shared full versions of four tracks
It was revealed earlier this month that the album's name is a tribute to the late David Bowie.
This is the third studio album released byThe Weeknd - real name Abel Tesfaye.
It follows 2015's Beauty Behind The Madness and the 2014 debut Kiss Land.
"When it comes down to performing and being that person you need to have that strength," Tesfaye told Zane Lowe on Thursday,
 "I'm not up there lip syncing, I don't have backup dancing, I don't have crazy s*** going on."
"It's all about me and the microphone."
Starboy is out Friday 25 November, courtesy of XO and Republic.

Drake's Spotify reign stopped by The Weeknd

The Weeknd has ended Drake's long reign as king of Spotify, topping the rapper's record of monthly listeners in November. The Starboy singer had close to 37.5 million plays last month compared to Drake's 36 million. Data released by Spotify shows Drake hadn't been topped in a monthly streaming list since May. The Weeknd's latest album Starboy, released late last month, has now been streamed by almost a third of all Spotify users. Starboy has also been named the "the third-biggest debut of the year" by Billboard. The singer's second album topped the music magazine's coveted 200 chart on Monday. Starboy sold 348,000 albums in the week ending 1 December, according to Billboard. That's still behind Drake's Views and Beyonce's Lemonade.
