Game Of Thrones star teases 'new threats' to come
Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner has hinted on "new threats" to her character as the Emmy-winning show draws to an end.
Turner plays Sansa Stark, the oldest Stark daughter who took back Winterfell with her half-brother Jon Snow.
In an interview to Entertainment Weekly on Wednesday, the British star hinted there might be trouble ahead for her character.
"She's seemingly in control for the first time - and it really suits her," she said.
"She's kind of having a bit of a power trip. But she's also becoming more insecure, because there are threats to the power that she holds."
The hit HBO series has now passed the time of writer George R R Martin's books, which makes its story unknown to most diehard fans.
HBO released an official look at next season, airing a Coming in 2017 promo before the penultimate episode of Westworld.
But the cryptic video aired only once and was barred from online release.
Fan website Watchers On The Wall released stills from the video which shows Sansa Stark, Jon Snow and Arya - three of the four heirs to the Stark throne.
"What overall excites me about this season is that main characters are coming together and it feels like things are ramping up," said Turner.
In October, there were reports of the whole season 7 plot being leaked online.
Last month, rumours started to emerge online - including a possible team-up between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen.
"It's really exciting and all feels like it's coming to a big conclusion," Turner added.
The Emmy-winning show has been rumoured to reach its grand finale in 2018.
Game Of Thrones season 7 will premiere on Sky Atlantic in 2017.
