Google CEO pays visit to FC Barcelona



Google CEO Sundar Pichai has always claimed to be a Barca fan and a Messi fan. This week he is in Barcelona for the Mobile World Congress. While there, he took the opportunity to visit FC Barcelona

Pichai attended a first team training session led by coach Luis Enrique. The Google CEO also enjoyed the opportunity to meet the first team players and he received a signed Barça shirt from Iniesta.

Later, Bartomeu and Pichai moved on to the facilities at Camp Nou to take a tour of the most famous areas of the stadium, the pitch, the dugouts, the first team dressing rooms and the Club Museum.

Oakland warehouse party fire leaves nine dead and 13 missing in California

At least nine people have been killed and 13 others are missing after a massive fire at a warehouse party in California. Firefighters said there had been about 50 people inside the building when the tragedy happened in Oakland's Fruitvale district late on Friday night. Crews saw no evidence that smoke detectors were activated during the blaze at an electronic music event and there was no sprinkler system in the building, fire chief Teresa Deloach-Reed was quoted as saying. She said most of the people who died were found on the second floor. She added: "This is a true loss for the city, for the firefighters who responded, and the people who lost family and friend. It's just tragic, a real tragedy." Chief Deloach-Reed described the building as "huge" and said fire officials were still trying to determine how the blaze started.
